My favourite song

One of my favourite songs ever is one called harder, better, faster, stronger by the French duo Daft Punk. I know this guys since 1997 after listening to Around the World – another of my favourites. The first time I hear harder, better . . . was in 2001. I was at home and at first I didn’t know that the song was created by those virtuous DJs, but the kind of samples and rhythms used sounded a bit suspicious to me. Once the song finished I thought it was composed by some impostors. About two months after I listened that track again but that time I watched the music video. Finally I could confirm my suppositions, that song was a creation of Daft Punk. I was fascinated, that new song meant the installment of Discovery, their new CD

When I got the CD I couldn’t quit listening to harder, better . . . it was simply an addiction, I even imagine myself performing that song.

About the lyrics, there’s nothing new. They are not complex and easy to learn. The funny thing here is that the singer is a robot, its voice result strange but interesting.

When Daft Punk came to Chile last year and during their show they perform
harder, better ... my desires were fulfill.

It’s one of the best songs in Daft Punk’s repertoire.

The lyrics

Work It
Make It
Do It
Makes Us
HarderBetterFasterStronger
More Than
Hour
Our
Never
Ever
After
Work is
Over [x2]
Work It Harder Make It Better
Do It Faster, Makes Us stronger
More Than Ever Hour After
Our Work Is Never Over

Summary

President George Bush said that US is ready to stop the Iranian nuclear menace and accuse this nation of supplying weapons and military training to Iraq. While Iranian President Mahmud Ahmanideyad pronounce that as US influence in the Middle East is declining, his country is prepared to ‘fill the gap’. Mr. Ahmanideyad defended the Iranian nuclar program saying that it’s only for peaceful purposes.
US administration also condemns the Quds –Iran’s elite forces declaring it as a ‘global terrorist organisation’.
Causing more tension, a group of 10 Iranians were take into custody last night in Baghdag by US forces, it is not clear the reasons of their detention.
All this menaces are part of a shore up strategy by the US government to gain public support after the failure of the Iraq’s invasion saying that the American strategy is "to protect American people" and assuring that the war is moving ‘in the right direction’.
